More of West Richland on Google Street View

Google has added a little more of West Richland to its “Street View” tool on Google Maps. Street View is the tool that lets you see a map/town via ground-level photography. You may recall that we first noticed West Richland in Street View a year ago — but it was only along Van Giesen, as far as I could tell.

Now, you can go up Bombing Range Rd, too. Look:

These photos are recent, too: As you go up the hill on Bombing Range, you’ll see some of those blue “Vote YES on EMS” signs on the side of the road. So Google’s car must’ve been here again within the last month or two. Pretty cool.

It’s still pretty limited, though, from what I can see. You can go up Bombing Range, but you can’t turn left on Paradise Way, for example. The Google car either didn’t take photos on the side streets, or those images aren’t in the system yet. And down along Van Giesen, you still can’t turn onto 38th, for example, or toward Tapteal Elementary.

If you want to see it for yourself, this link should work.
