EMS Service in West Richland? I’ll Be Voting YES
Posted by Matt McGee under West Richland News
The ballots have arrived at Casa McGee, but we haven’t even opened them up yet. Maybe tomorrow. I’m still undecided on a few positions, but one thing I know I’ll be voting for is the levy and bond to add EMS services here in West Richland.
I’ve always had this fear that something would happen to the kids, or Cari (or even me), and after we call 9-1-1, we’d have to wait 10-15 minutes for an ambulance to arrive from Richland. No thanks.
The bond and levy aren’t all that expensive: total cost of both is less than $10/month for homeowners of a $150,000 home. That seems a pretty fair price to pay for an essential service like having an ambulance ready and waiting … and nearby.
Thank you for reading this article on the West Richland Real Estate Blog.
