Happy Snowy New Year

Club 24 Fitness opening next week in West Richland

You may have received a postcard today announcing that Club 24 Express Fitness is now open at its West Richland location in Paradise Plaza near Yoke’s. But it’s actually not open yet.

Baum’s Chocolates coming to West Richland

Baum’s Chocolates will have a new home in early 2010 — a new home in West Richland. KEPR reported the move a few days ago, saying the store will be moving to the old GESA location right on Van Giesen Avenue.

Avocado Grill has closed

This won’t be news to some of you, but it was news to me when I drove by a couple days ago: Avocado Mexican Grill up in the Paradise Plaza shopping center (near Yoke’s) has closed down. The door and windows are all covered and there’s a sign saying “We are closed permanently.”

Snowing in West Richland

The first snow of the year has arrived in West Richland! Here are a couple photos taken on Bird Hill right at/near the South Highlands Community Park. Can’t really see it falling, but you can see it starting to cover the streets.

The National Weather Service says 1-3 inches are possible by tomorrow morning.
